FaggotFox are nowhere near the fastest. It's a fat, bloated browser that eats your RAM for a snack. Opera 10 (The current version as far as I know) might be faster than FaggotFox, but it's sort of hard not to be faster. In any case, Opera 10 isn't as good as Opera 9, and isn't nearly as good as Chrome.

I've never used it under Windows - I doubt it's as useful (not being able to take advantage of "Preview", widgets) and it's a bit slower.
What I miss in both Chrome and Safari is the universal mouse scroll...I used to literally abuse that feature in Firefox.

is universal mouse scroll the one you use by clicking your middle mousebutton? if it is, I can confirm that it is amazingly awesomely important.
|
Ya, I used it at a lot for hands-free reading of threads/wikipedia articles/ebay listings/whatever...no idea why Chrome and Safari don't implement that. Apple might not because of their silly mice, but I have no idea what google is thinking..

I'm using an older version, apparently; 2.0.172.37, and it still works.

I got Chrome like the second week of it's release and haven't really bothered updating since, and I've got the feature. Either you're outright lying on can't figure out how to work the middle mouse button (From all your Mac usage, I'm sure).

Apparently that 'Chrome OS' is supposed to be out sometime next week in one form or another. However, it sounds like it's only geared for developers.
Still, I'd love to check it out: a dual boot with XP and Chrome for my netbook would be awesome!

lol, I find it funny that awhile after posting my message I was searching on the internet for CoD:MW2 multiplayer titles, got redirected to a fake virus scan site which automatically installed a trojan to my computer.
I WAS using Opera, but now I know better. I will only use Opera on trusted sites(such as this one).
Internet Searching:
Better to be safe & slow than sorry and scanning your entire computer for 20x as long as it would have been to use firefox + all my addons (which are anti-rick roll, ad-block and Stylish [used to turn white pages black for saving ATP and not annoying me], as well as no-scripts and anti-autoplay, are apparently for hipster faggots).

We'll see how long you continue to switch off browsers. Chances are it won't last (Although if you keep it up, more power to you). In any case, you're presenting a false choice of either fast or safe, when you can have both with Chrome.

Then you might as well just run IE...
Or get Chrome, and have it block shit like that automatically meaning you won't have to make compromises!

Might be a good idea...
Haven't tried chrome yet
EDIT:Chrome seems as fast as Opera, if not faster.
