Well i think you should upgrade but i dont think Dell is a good idea.
Far to expensive in my opinion.

I had a screen similar to that one only 22 inch (2 inches smaller Razz) for ~€160,- Thumbs Up

it is the LG W2261V

That 1920x1080 display is going to be murder on your Radeon 4550.

You need to upgrade your card before getting an LCD, unless of course you don't play any other games or plan on running them at native resolution.

Walmart! Bestbuy is a ripoff...

This is a search for monitors 23+ inches, make sure you check the smaller ones too as they will have quite a difference in price.

Edit: Link for the 22 inch ones... http://www.walmart.com/browse/Computers/Monitors/All-Monitors/_/N-2yj9Zaq90Zaqce Z1z0dewy/Ne-aqgf?ic=48_0&ref=125875.138069+500847.4293724354&tab_value=1 0849_All&waRef=125875.125875+125875.126085+125875.126127+125875.138069+50084 7.4293724354&path=0%3A3944&fromPageCatId=37802&catNavId=37802

First one is an Acer for $160.

I wouldn't get that Dell personally. Acer is alright, I've never had problems with them. Check out newegg or some other online retailers before buying local.

While the topic open, should I cancel my MW2 xbox pre-order and get this monitor? I am planning to use it between my xbox 360/ps3 and computer. How will it work for fast paced gaming? Or is there perhaps a better monitor for about the same size and price? I'd be upgrading from a 4 year old 20" TV.. lol

I'd get that monitor for that price, but I am not the type that spends weeks researching all the different places on the internet... so I don't know if that wpould sound stupid to someone who does.

I had a Dell 24" widescreen and it SUCKED. Pixels behaving strangely and bad burn-in. I have since moved to a Samsung 24" widescreen and it's AWESOME.

I'm the bawss.

I'm going to vouch for the Samsung camp. I have a 21.6" Samsung display that I got on a Boxing Day sale (like Black Friday), and it's plain awesome. They make some of the best LCD TV's and that seems to have carried over to their PC Monitors.
