Recruit

I just installed my old renegade again, but now i am playing on a pc with windows vista. I didn't have any problems with the other functions of the game and I can also connect with WOL, but the problem is when i created an account ( tried several names also something like "1smaf1rfasmf") but it just said there are no servers found at this time and it also said something about my firewall. What can I do?

Your nickname must be less than 10 characters and contain no spaces or other punctuation (Like: ! , ; @ etc)

You password must be exactly 8 characters, and for the love of God, do not use "12345678".

so now i tried the nickname 67korky76 it works but when it tries to connect it says unable to connect firewall negiation complete or unable to connect operation timed out. My firewalls are off and still it wont connect
help plz Smile

Oh, and this. Names do have to start with a letter. (Else the "a000" debate would've been replaced with a "000" debate a long time ago, lol)

First one starts with a number thus fails

Second one is OK but you already exceeded you maximum number of accounts on your serial. (9 MAX)
Delete old ones or use on of the old ones Thumbs Up

Out of curiosity... is there a way to list all of your current nicknames if you do not have the maximum of 9? I know I don't have that many but I can't remember how many I actually do have at the moment... probably about 3 or 4. I only ever use one anyway so it doesn't matter that much I guess, just curious.

Use an existing name with an incorrect password obviously, or you'll just create a new name.

Then you need to go into Chat and do /shownames or /names or something like that. I don't recall what the command really is though.

Edit: Okay, nevermind this. I'm wrong.
