Saw these two articles (and the flame wars they generated) today, and realized just how entertaining it is to read flame wars.
So either it's common to find these entertaining, or I'm crazy. Razz

This article's crazy, that's what started the flamewar in the first place.

Read the URL. Obvious flamewar inc!

Flame wars are entertaining. I try to boost the entertainment value in them every once in a while by making the readers laugh at the complete stupidity I post. It tends to lighten the tension of the factions in the war but also serves as hilarious entertainment for those who aren't involved.

Also seriously, read the first link. The guy posting the article was trying to teach readers how to trick Facebook friends to get access to their private profiles. The obvious deceit involved caused lots of negative comments and promises to unsubscribe to the MakeUseOf feed.

The comments on that one are really great, the author replied to a lot of them and he was fairly flippant Very Happy
