You need books, only 2 or 3 should give you all the info you need.

If you don’t even know about cases then you are in well above your head.

Go down to your local book store and buy some general PC information books, like 'how to fix and upgrade your pc in 24 hours' are usually a good idea. Also 'Build your own PC' by Morris Rosenthal is a good buy since it has a shed load of information and has instruction. I think its on it 4th or 5th edition now. Most of these books will have at least 2 or three different builds in them.

Start at the bottom and work your way up. Wink

As for stacks, it all depends on what you are going to be putting in it. Baby ATs are smaller and fit the Baby AT boards, these stacks usually come with store bought PC because they are small and cost effective and don’t need much packaging and so cost loss. Not much room. But fit any were and make a nice satisfying sound when you hit them with a hammer, sooner or latter all PCs end up in a skip.

AT are standard and fit all boards and have buckets of room.

Pc building can been much cheaper but can lead to some really big fucking headaches. Any one can build a PC and it isnt hard as long as you follow the Ps
Perfect Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance

Good luck. Smile
