I was wondering how to change a wav files volume, and no I dont mean make it louder on your speakers by turning em up.

I mean like make it louder period. So it will be louder even with your speakers at the same volume setting.

I ask this because my new minigun sound is too soft

Ummm yeah you lost me.

There is no effects tab or setting. And I want it to be louder on ALL computers. Not just mine. I dont want to set one setting to be louder than the others, I want the sound to be louder without changing any of your computers volume settings.

If this isnt what you meant then please tell me cause I dont understand

It's the effects drop-down menu, and it will be louder regardless of volume settings.

Oh, turns out i typo'd there.
I meant "sndrec32.exe".

Within windows...
1) Click the Start button.
2) Click Run.
3) Type "sndrec32.exe" and click OK.

Within windows sound recorder...
4) File menu, open your wav file.
5) Effects menu, choose "increase volume (by 25%)".
6) File menu, save your wav file.

This will only effect the file you saved, it will not change any general volume settings on your computer.

Also, if you have a Creative audio card installed, you should have a program called "Wave Studio" in Programs folder.
