I got my A-level results today.
I managed a B in maths and a D in geography.....it's got me into Staffordshire University to do a degree in computer games programming
If anyone else was getting results, what did you get and what you gonna do with them?

You give me a hard paper... or something completely different to the past papers that i prepared for. I get all stressed out and perform even worse than i normally would on that paper.
In real life i would just take a 'time out' and come back to it later prepared... but you cant do that in an exam
Sucks really :/ I cant exactly go around blameing the exam on me failing the paper can i? UMS is meant to account for that, just dousnt really help me lol

In real life, you'd just take your time, some of those problems need more time given to them, the entire method of examinations is flawed, but I'm at a loss for a substitute.

Overal that got me a B
Bio: B
Business: A
Overal i missed my place at warwick by 1 mark
Off to sheffield now to do comp sci!

Nice on the c1 c2 and c3.....unlucky about c4, although that was a really hard test.
I only got 50% so only managed a D, which will have been my worst one out of all of them.
If i got better on C4 i'd have managed an A....not sure how many points i was from it though.
I got 449/600 in the end.....what did you need for an A (i'd cry if it was 450).
|
You need 480 for an A
440 for a B
I got 479
|
Ouch.....in that case, i was 9 marks into the boundary for maths....which, incidentally, i was only 8 marks into the boundary for geography.
Ah well, i got into uni, so i'm happy.
