How many RMS watts does the deck put out? I had a sony that put out 52W per channel and it sucked huge, probably only was 6-7W RMS. bought a pioneer deck that's 50W/25W RMS per channel and sounds worlds different. I wouldn't worry about blowing it much, just don't crank it all the way up or where it starts to distort.

I got a pretty cheap receiver its was only $60. 50w max per channel 22 continuous. It made a big difference since I didn't have any source of music in my truck for a few months now. Sounds great just worried about the stock speakers. I don't want to remove my rear panels again lol.

this is the exact deck I got http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882117278

Yes, it will blow it, after a while if not instantly.
