How many RMS watts does the deck put out? I had a sony that put out 52W per channel and it sucked huge, probably only was 6-7W RMS. bought a pioneer deck that's 50W/25W RMS per channel and sounds worlds different. I wouldn't worry about blowing it much, just don't crank it all the way up or where it starts to distort.
