Hi,
Yesterday i bought a renegade after not playing for a few years and for some reason when i join a game about 5 minutes after, there is major lag, causing me to warp around. It will then say game play pending and have me disconnected. Once it disconnects, it wipes my internet out completely causing me to having to reboot the box. I have 10mb connection and also on wireless router to two other computer of which also play on renegade. (they also get the same problem). Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Sounds like a problem with your router, or with your Internet connection. A bit hard to determine which one it would be. It's not a Renegade related problem, as far as I can tell.
Are you running any downloads while playing? Maybe your router can't handle the amount of simultaneous connections...

sounds like you need a new router, i had the same problem with my old one, it made all these noises and then it rebooted itself, cause the connection overloaded itself or something like that, so i called the ISP and they sent me a new one, works like a charm

well ive rang the internet company and they are sending a new internet box (not router) ... you think that could possibly solve it ?? my internet works alrite on every other game apart from renegade :S thanks
edit : oh and we just recently moved up to 10 mb broadband (like this week) and still ahve the same box ... would that have sumthing to do with it ?
