Posting on behalf of banned users will be considered as bypassing a ban. For doing this, you will be issued a single warning and topic removal. If you do it again, you will be banned for the same duration as the person you posted for.

Finally.

Yeah, we knew we had to change the policy on that, but we didn't know what to, and therefore we had to discuss before we could act, and that got silly...

Anyway, READ THEM!

Swearing: We will not be censoring any "bad words" here. But please still keep it within reason, and use the Hot Issues forum for anything too intense.

exofail still remains 'creatively edited' ?

Neither Goztow nor I have access to the word filter.

I do not have the required access to PM control, and what is done by the administration is not my fault.

Contact Crimson.

Has the warez rule been changed at all? I'm still not 100% sure whether it's supposed to cover the NON-cracked Renegade ISOs that Blazer posted a link to somewhere on the forum.

The rule didn't change, there's some kind of tolerance towards those ISO's.

And the censoring concerns swearing. AFAIK the word that's auto replaced there is not a swearword. And as Caveman is also right.

It might not be a swearword but it conflicts with this:

They are not able to do so because of the word being censored.

I think it could be used no problem in a signature, but my issue is that what happens when say, another community does something deemed 'terrible' by the higher ups? Will Jelly become 'Failly'? Will n00bless become 'n00bfull'?

It's one thing to censor out cheats or things that are actually debilitating towards the game, but this is just pettiness.

Then again, banning anyone for anything automatically makes you a biased prick who shouldn't be a moderator.

In response to some minor confusion, I clarified the signature size rules, hence the further update.
