Hi,

Just dled scrips from game maps.com or whatever
anyway
my ren is totally useless now. When i startup I get a blank screen and a pop-up that says "Error getting function address from bhs.dll"

halp plz thanks

Did you use the installer or did you manually extract the files from the zip archive? If you did it manually try using the installer - http://4camp.net/scripts344.exe

ooooh. ok. hmm...I downloaded it again, and now renegade works! but....

all the hud stuff is messed up, ie: the numbers don't show up in the right places (for health or clip) and I have no radar =(

halp?

Which hud are you using, one of the gps radar huds?

i don't think so (i think i loaded one a long time ago, but deleted some files so it reverted back to the original hud) are there files I can look for to "change it back"?

Well if you see a "hud.ini" in your data folder delete that, if you don't have that file in there look for "hud_main.dds" and delete that.

Nope. still doesn't work. fyi i play in widescreen (1400x900 or something)

Renegade doesn't work properly in widescreen, choose a non-widescreen resolution and it should look OK again... yes, it sucks, but not much we can do about it until 4.0 comes along...

well i guess it's that renegade with scripts 3.4.4 doesn't work properly. Before I installed the scripts, it worked fine in ws.

sigh...i'll probably try that and if I really don't like playing small on a big monitor i'll just take em out.
