I just saw a preview for renegade(old, obviously) on mtv, on the show electric playground. It made renegade look so awesome. Now I know How this game sold so well, they advertised it on this show with all the old models. Everything looked totaly awesome on this, the old chaingun was amazing, the old rocket launch kicked ass, the nod light tank's turret was not cetered and it looked cooler. I've see the recon bike, nod buggy, flame tank, and all the other ones that were posted on here, but i couldn't help being pissed off at EA, for advertising the with all the wicked models, and then realeasing it with all the shitty models: Suck my balls EA.
anyway, did anyone else see this? I know it's old so sumone is bound to have seen it.

So, basicly you're saying that Renegade sucks?
Look dude, they took 5 fucking years to devlop this game, they had to make it meet the year's standards and all...
But there's only 1 guy to blame for this, and I don't remember his name, he joined the team and decided the remake the whole game, which was the worse idea ever.
So stop blamming EA for everything, EA is a company, they need to pay their employees with the money we put in their games, if they aren't making any money, they move on, just like any other freakin' companies.
Now you're going to say: But Westwood was different!
My awnser is simple: Of course it was! They were owned by Virgin before! And Virgin has a different mentality which is: If you don't like what you do, you shouldn't be here

EA had almost nothing to do with Renegade, as Aprime said
They just shutdown WS AFTER Renegade was made.

No way! I don't think renegade sucks! It was my favorite game fore about 5 months staight. But then i got sick of it. I was wondering what came over them, to totaly fuck up the models and all, but I guess if what you say is true, then now I can blame that dude. also, I know it took a long time to make the game, didn't it take a good 2 or 3 year to creat the engine itself?
In conclusion: suck my balls EA
