Well just yesterday I messed around with the renegade folder and something went wrong. I reinstalled (using your guide). And everything was fine I put in my mods and stuff like it was before.
I tried to join St0rm co-op and it worked (yay!)
Then I tried Kamuix Lite and I got the Gameplay Pending Problem! (Noo!). I joined the Atomix server and same error!
Then i joined St0rm AOW and it worked! And then I tried TSUGaming Nazi Zombie server and it worked too!
The servers can't be down I refresh and I see player numbers go down and up like normal. I tried disabling my firewall but it did nothing. Help me! It wasn't this way before I reinstalled!
Also, the "no connection" happens immediately. FPS: 60 SFPS: 0 Ping: 0 KBPS: 0
EDIT: Problem solved, thanks everyone!

Many servers require a valid serial on gamespy, but EA never bothered updating that database, opposed to the WOL database which has been updated. I therefor propose you to try out using WOL. Check the sticky in this subforum for info about creating a username there.
You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Hi Ainenbn;
We at Kamuix Lite are currently using RenegadeResurrection on our server which automatically blocks serials that are "shared" according to the GSA list.
For the moment there's nothing we can do about this, sorry
