Some time a go i found a link in a guy's journal that claimed that that is the beta of ren. The post was made in 2001 and he doesn't remember the password. Could it be the one? i think many people know about this thing but cuz of the password just left it alone.

I believe they have signed and Nda disclosure or however it is called. Normally those will last 4 years. So i expect it could be legal to release it.

The thing is I don't know what kind of liscense those beta testers had only they how have it know it Razz

Besides that I have no clue who has that beta. (I have guesses though)

Edit: btw this is just a connection to the server which means the file could already be gone.

You will either need someone from EA or someone who has had the beta before.

2nd issue the file might not even be there anymore. Since this is only the thing to connect to that server.

My best guess is to find someone who has participated in the beta. Mayby ack or crimson did participate.

Hell yeah. I did some time ago, altho not askin for the pass, they didn't answer. After some time reading the strings, i found that there should have been: rats, seagulls, squirels, flyes, scorpins, sentry guns for engineers Huh
