My hard drive is corrupted in a way thqt I am unable to get past a black screen on the boot, and none of the f-keys work for BIOS or Recovery or anything. I was wondering if I get a new hard drive for my HP Pavilion DV9207us notebook, will i need to get Vista OS again, or will it still be on the computer regardless of a new Hard Drive?
Thanks

If you can't get into BIOS it's probably something more than just a hard drive problem.
