Most things we use/do on the internet serve no real purpose but we do it any ways. This is just another thing. I really don't see why people RAGE so hard at twitter. All it is really is a text message with an extra step. I will be the first to tell you that it is pretty useless but it still can be fun. It takes all of like 2 minutes to set up. Mine is pretty much strictly n00bstories - I don't have any irl people following me or being watched. Btw, I also don't let tweets go to my phone which makes it much more tolerable.

I had myspace for about two months, then everyone jumped to Facebook, then people started using Twitter and Friendster and all kinds of other useless garbage that allows you to communicate with people you already talk to in real life. I don't use that stuff anymore - a traditional "real life" conversation, with the occasional MSN and Phonecall is good enough for people I know in RL. Thumbs Up

These internet networks are just too much to keep track of for no real reason.
