Lol, of course you will listen to the harder side of Hardcore. I like it too but im from UK and like the more uplifting tunes and freeform.
|
That's not the harder side of hardcore tbh. I know it's harder than UK hardcore, but it's def not the harder side of hardcore. Search for Tieum, Tapage, Ophidian etc. if you want the hard side of hardcore.
OP: Techno is a way too big term to reccomend you something, you need to be a bit more specific in what you want. As in; hard/soft, high BPM/low BPM, melodic/loops, dark/happy etc etc.

Your mixing could be a lot better. Also, ~30 tracks in 10 min sounds so horrible, you should at least grab a bit of the intro and outro on every track you play. So in a 10 min mix you should fit in 4 tracks MAX, 3 or 2 would be best.

It's usually the difference in BPM (beats per minute), the hardness of the kick and the use of melodies and/or loops. Like trance usually has a BPM of around 130, a really soft and dense bassdrum and stretched out qlimax-like melodies. Hardcore on the other hand has a BPM of around 180, hard and distorted kicks and differs per song wether it uses either screeches, a nasty synth melody or sometimes simple loops. There are shitloads of different genre's like this in techno music.
