You could just try disabling Windows Firewall completely and enabling it when it's done.

i have the same problem... i tryed everything ! really everything but nothing help... i shutdown FireWall... Kasoersky Internet Security... and other...

when i try to start "Renegade" by RenGuard, before when i go to option and press/accept the Disable Pre Core check off...

so i cant start Renegeade... i turn back to the RenGuard programm...

and Caveman, do you mean with "Ren" Renegade or RenGuard ? to uninstall and reinstall... ? ^^ dont make it all so secret hehe...

i have done... !!! Caveman, your tutorial form page 2 is good and it works ! i have followed your description and last i have Installed RenGuard... so i made like u ! [1.) Renegade 2.) the last Patch 3.) the patcher + patchall 4.) the script which Caveman mean 5.) and the last one RenGuard : )

PS: i start normal without RenGuard, because u dunno what RenGuard will to by automatically Patch Check
