How do you make pct icons, I have found some blank ones, you know the one with the blank backgorund. But I was wondering how do you add stuff behind them like the med tank picture or whatever.

you can make other things like
make an ss of them and then use this ss for pt or you can skin
the little med on the pt icon like your big med tank Very Happy

Making PCT Backgrounds is quite simple:

1) Get the DDS Converter
2) Take any picture and resize it to 256x256 @24bpp
3) Convert the picture into the DDS format (settings DXT1a)

rename it to obl_pct_master.dds for example.

ok i made some
but i wont show ss
i made it so and it looks good i think
take a ss of your unit
open the blank icons which was posted in my topic "blank pt icons" i think
and open your ss of the unit
then cut the unit with the polygon lasso as example and it to the pt icon then save it as DTX 1
finish
you have a pt icon
