They're taking it seriously where I work...
My employer asked me yesterday to fill in a form that declared I have not been to Mexico in the last few weeks, and if I was planning on traveling there any time soon. It wasn't even him who wanted the info, he was passing it on to people who we are contracted to.
I'm sure it's illegal for them to pass that info on, data protection act and all that. Plus, is it even legal for them to be asking me private, personal questions like that about where I will be holidaying?
I think it's a liberty.

You live in the UK, privacy there hasn't existed for quite some time.

It'll fizzle out and go party with SARS and Avian Flu.

I've never heard of either of them either...

Err, well the name "SARS" sounds familiar, but I don't know where I've heard it before..

...I don't think I live under a rock either..

lol I'm pretty sure that since the entire world freaking out about this that 30-40% of the population of the UK will not get this unless some asshole goes around coughing and breathing on everybody. People (not directed at you Pyr0) are retarded sometimes.

I really want all the doomsayers, and morons hyping this flu as the end of mankind to catch it, get sick, and have horrible diarrhea so they can stfu, and we can get back to worrying about real shit.

that's kind of funny. if i'm not mistaken, there's worse things out there than swine flu. so, you're right, they can stfu.

MRSA can be transmitted outside of hospitals too, it is a mild bacteria that affects the skin (afaik). Which is immune to most anti-biotics, including your own immune system. Which is why it is deadly.
EDIT:I think the first occurence was in a hospital, though. Mainly because of all the anti-biotics they use.
