Okay, so basically, I installed Vista 64 bit, installed Renegade, RG, CP2 and latest scripts. Now, when I launch RG and press "Renegade" to fire up the game it takes a few seconds and then simply says:

That, and obviously shuts the game down.
Please don't suggest that I uninstall RG. I need it to play at n00bstories because I was force RG'd there ages ago.

Yeah, seems like it. People just don't get it that if you run straight and with any character, you're bound to get picked off even with a pistol.
I don't really remember what got me forceRG'd, but I can tell you that I wasn't cheating.
(of course, that's what they all say - right? but it's beside the point of the thread anyway)
