well, I bought me a 5.1 surround system. it works fine, but there is something strange if I play renegade. when I select Surround in renegade, then it doesn't work Sad

. then I hear just 4 speakers.
so renegade doesn't support 5.1 surround sound?

It does support it, there is a trick to it, cos windows messes with the settings, i cant remember though :/

ohh, yeah... I found a way to get it to work.
when I play renegade, my "windows" music settings changes to 4 speakers.
you have to change it to 5.1 while playing renegade.

I play CCR with 5.1, too but i have no Problems.

WhichSoundcard do you use???
Is the Driver with "C-Media Mixer"???
