Idk if a topic was made about this already but,
what games do you need to run it? I've heard
that you need Unreal Tournament 3...
Or can you just have plain Renegade to run it?

Yes, you need UT3, and a computer that can run it of course.

All you need is Unreal Tournament 3, which costs $10.00 if you get it off Steam or most game shops.

Minimum System Requirements

- Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista
- 2.0+ GHZ Single Core Processor
- 512 Mbytes of System RAM
- NVIDIA 6200+ or ATI Radeon 9600+ Video Card
- 8 GB of Free Hard Drive Space

Keep in mind that I run Renegade X with a PC that barely meets these requirements, and if some fancy details are turned off, one could still run the game on medium and low settings with a low-end PC.

I'll check...

You'll need to turn the details down, but it will run.

Heck, you can run UT3 on a 2.0GHz SKT 478 (Yes, really) P4, w/ 1.5 GB of RAM and a humble Radeon 9550 on an AGP 4X bus.

It doesn't look good though. lol

Great site for seeing whether you meet the minimum or recommended computer specs for games. I have a P4 3.2 GHz and a GeForce 6800 GT with 2 GB RAM and insufficient cooling. I just got UT3 but haven't installed it yet. However, I recently played singleplayer Legendary (which uses UE3) on medium, and it was a bit choppy at times, but mostly ok. Didn't look anywhere near as good as the intro video, but it still looked realistic enough.

My old PC which I gave to my brother is a Pentium 4 2.8GHz (socket 478, Northwood, 800MHz FSB, Hyper-threading), 2GB of DDR400 RAM in dual channel, and a GeForce 6800GS AGP w/256MB. Unreal Tournament 3 lags pretty bad on it, pretty much even at the lowest settings (everything was turned off or set to the lowest, except textures, which were at medium, and one or two other minor things which were left on, at a resolution of 1024x768 [800x600 was just barely better]). Given the settings, resolution, and speed, I'd honestly consider something around that system the real minimum requirements. A PC with a 2GHz Pentium 4, 1GB of RAM, and a weaker video card may get it to play, but it will not give you a good experience, unless you willingly don't mind choppy gameplay and low frame rates.

Renegade X may be different, of course (and for my brothers' sake, I hope it is).

And why do you have like 3-4 accounts Scrin...?

Can't any of the admins / mods merge his accounts?

A few years ago eh? Unreal Tournament III came out mid-November 2007, which was a year and five months ago. How is it possible that you've had UT3 for a few years?
