Today I had nothing to do but being bored Surprised
So...I started searching for some random stuff on my computer. As I reached my "girls" section I started looking at some pictures. Then I got an idea Roll Eyes

My project had started. I cleaned up my workspace and opened up photoshop. Resized the image a bit, saved it and opened it in a clean document. Then I started working.

This is my project:
Vectorizing an image. After vectorizing it I will be sending it to a company which will then create a notebook skin out of it. (Protects my notebook cover from scratches)

Reason for this project:
My study involves all kinds of graphical design. Photoshop, Illustrator, drawing, building websites etc. So I figured this would be some nice practice for future projects related to my study.

(Progress image will be updated every now and then...)

I think my project is working out pretty well, though the hardest part is still about to come. I started out very easy by creating the shirt, after that I'm going to work on the face. The face ain't that hard, but the eyes are a bit tricky.

The hardest part is her hair, this will take a lot of time, but who cares. If the final result is nice, then I'm satisfied. Smile

Please tell me how you think of this Very Happy

The notebook skins he's talking about are a coating that's applied overtop of your laptop and it has an image in it. You can get companies to do pretty much anything. Its coming good so far. I'll stay stuned so I don't miss the progress.

Still have to fix that stuff and it's way from done. Though I don't have much time now since there are some problems with my computer again. This time my network card is totally fucked up and I need to get a new one. Also I'm rather busy with school and some other stuff.
