I need help reformatting a memory card, or removing it's write protection.

It is a micro SD car that is plugged into an SD adapted which is connected to my PC via a usb adapter.

It will have been write protected due to using it in my samsung tocco, and i'm wondering how to get rid of the write protection.

Reformatting it by right clicking on the drive in my computer and clicking format doesn't work....anyone got any ideas?

P.S. The reason this is in this section and not the support section is cos, for some reason or another, i'm not allowed to post in that section.

does the actual memory card have a little slider on it? that's the write protect.

Yeah, but i thought that might be it but the arrow is pointing to the opposite side that the little slider is on.

Edit: Putting the slider on both sides makes no difference.

Edit: Turns out it was the USB adapter :/

The reason you can't post in the tech support section is because of the "Viva la resistance" thing...
