Recruit

I have been trying to get Renegade to work on my vista computer, but I have encountered a problem. Whenever I start renegade, a error saying that the game has stopped working pops up. I have tried everything. I have set all the compatibility settings to XP, I have reinstalled renegade, and I have updated my graphics card drivers.

I really need help. I would be grateful for any that can be provided.

much trouble with vista, can't really help. Maybe try to run in compatibility with windows xp (if vista has that feature)

Ok there has been a development. I just copied my brother's Renegade files from his computer (he plays renegade on vista, but his works) and pasted them over mine. The difference it made is that it seemed to almost work. It didn't get past the startup icon, but it took a lot longer to crash.

P.S. I am running it with compatibility to XP.

I just tried it. Still doesn't work.
