Annoyingly Vista lacks the ability to properly execute applications in 32-bit mode on a 64-bit system, but I believe there are some third-party applications that can do it for you.
BTW, every time you need to play a game on Vista, you need to right-click it and select 'Run as administrator'.

BTW, this is very bad advice. Most (99% of) games run just fine with reduced privileges, as they should. This *includes* Renegade. The only issue you may run into is a crash on startup because of retarded coding by Westwood. However, I created a launcher which fixes that specific bug when it's used to start the game.

That's the first I have heard of that one, do you have some examples of those third party applications? I tend to just run 32bit apps that won't work in Vista x64 in a virtual machine...
