Anyone claiming themselves to be the son of god and that he is the second coming would be seen as insane.
People that aren't christian would think he's just pure insane, and christians would just think he is taking the mick and certainly not believe him.
This is a signature. Reading this is wasting your time.

If you believe in Christianity's God, and believe the bible, then you must concede that God is at least as old as Earth is, as he was supposed to of made it. According to the Bible, the Earth is roughly 6000 years old, meaning that God is aged between 6000 years - infinity.
Given this, he may prefer an older woman.

Older... no one better start holding their breath if we are going to wait for a woman older then god to come along to give birth to give birth to Christ.

It's interesting the age of the woman is mentioned, since there is an argument that 'virgin' is simply a mistranslation of 'young woman' (in the same vein, the 72 'virgins' promised to Islamic suicide-murderers is thought to be a mistranslation for grapes... which, again, makes a little more sense and is a lot less condescending to Muslim women 'hi girls, if you have sex you aren't going to heaven, and if you stay a virgin all your life you'll go to heaven but only for the comfort and convenience of a man).
If that is the case, then the original prophecy is a lot less remarkable and a lot more plausible. Also, perhaps a Christian can point out where in the Bible Jesus says his mother was a virgin. I asked that question before, no answer yet.

is it surprising that the price is so low? religion has always taught that we humans are miserable sinners who only exist to worship the dictator (no Kim Jong-Il or Stalin could put it better). but take heart, because the beauty of life all around us and of non-living things in the cosmos... was all created specifically with us in mind.
bit of a contradiction.
Any Muslims here wanna comment on the 72 virgins business (assuming it actually does mean 'virgin', as most Muslims seem to believe). To my knowledge, the only mention of women in the Muslim version of heaven is the 72-virgins concept. This seems to imply two things.
1. Women who have sex aren't going to heaven, even if they live a virtuous life. This seems to be not only extremely repressive, but also quite harmful to the survival of the human species - after all, Islam does instruct its follows to spread Islam everywhere and anywhere, so...
2. Those women who take heed of point 1 and remain a virgin all their life might end up going to heaven, but only for the comfort and convenience of a man; only as little more than a sex slave. The 72-virgins scenario does rather indicate that the women will have very little choice in the matter; most likely the man would have the complete choice of which of his many virgins to use, and when, and how often.
So, my Muslim friends, question: do you think any of this is good? Aren't you as repelled by this as I am? I can only guess as to how condescending all this is to women (as is so much else in Islam); I also find it pretty damn condescending to men, too. Am I supposed to be tempted by the above deal? Is it supposed to make me want to give my life in the service of Allah, as it does for so many suicide bombers all over the world all the time?
