Best Buy is the anal herpies of electronics stores. Fry's are only out east (though they are ftw) and circut city really usually wasn't a good deal. Though me and the girlfriend were there last weeked and got some killer deals on their going-out-of-business-cuz-suk-k stuff.

Bestbuy is only good for DVDs, Games, some computer components, and TVs. Everything else is way too overpriced.
Same thing with Circuit City and the other retarded stores mentioned in this thread.
To be honest, I only use those store websites to check when the next specific anime DVD is released... lol.

I find it funny when people claim a store is overpriced in comparison to a website online.. well yeah no fucking shit. The overhead involved with running a store, especially the size that bestbuy, circuitcity, and futureshop run at require that increase in cost. What you get in return is the ability to purchase the item and walk away with it instantly, and have less trouble ( in comparison to online stores ) in returning the item. Also the idea of being able to talk with an employee (even though most don't know what they are talking about)
*edit*
not to mention some websites may only require a handful of people to run, where as a store creates a lot more jobs...
Sometimes getting something a certain way to save 10$ or 20$ doesn't benefit the economy in the long run.

Bestbuy, Circuit City, and the like also have online stores where their prices are just as blown up as they are in the physical store plus extra because you have to pay the costs for shipping.
So don't go comparing them to online based electronic stores.
