Well whenever i try and install renegade it comes up with no text like this,

Yep, restart your pc. Else go to your Renegade CD, open up the "Install" folder and right click the .ttf files. Click install and reboot. The fonts will then be loaded from your system folder, which prevents this kind of crap most of the time (at my place it does).
