Crappy upload, but excellent download. I've tested this for the last two weeks and the download speed has been about what it is now. Wink

EVE IS DEAD! Crying or Very sad

But here is my speedtest results from my Laptop. If I was on my actual desktop, it would probably be much faster:

http://www.speedtest.net/result/406499736.png

The specs of my desktop were, however:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
2GB RAM
540GB Hard Drive space
PNY GeForce 9800 (1024Mb)
650W PSU
Windows XP (SP3)

I also have an old AsRock Mother Board.
---

Since I decided to reconstruct my PC to make Eve 2.0 (EVE the space MMO has absolutely nothing to do with that name).

The new parts include:
1. MSI P7N Platinum (Motherboard). It uses the nVidia 750i SLI chipset. Supports up to 8GB RAM and has 3 PCI-E slots. (One x16 and two x8). 4 SATA ports as well as 2 e-SATA ports. 4 USB and 1 firewire. Surround sound, ect. It runs Intel processors.

2. 4GBs of RAM. I'm planning on upgrading to a 64-bit OS because of that.

3. 500Gb Harddive replacement (old one was 40Gb)

4. I'm also going to be buying a new chassis.

Eve 1.0 was nuclear green. 2.0 will be demon red. :V

I forgot about my desktop I'll go ahead and post the specs of it:

Processor: AMD Athlon 3100 2.2Ghz
RAM: 1.5GB
Hard Drive: 160GB
Video Card: Nvidia 5550 512MB

I got that thing maybe 4-4.5 years ago(maybe only 3-3.5) it's still running pretty well, and that's about 3 years(I think) without a windows reinstall Razz

EDIT:
@ Saberhawk: What's the model number of that one? I assume you bought that recently?

Alienware sucks. Waaaay to over priced. You can make a system twice as good and spend half the money...
