I don't get why he wants to shut it down. Where are we going to toture terrorists for information and lulz then? Seems like a lot of work to move everything and do it somewhere eles when we have a perfectly good facility already.

guantanamo is nothing but a rallying cause for terrorists anyway. shutting it down is an exercise in american principles and virtue
i guess some people here don't care about the suspension of habeus corpus? if we have evidence against an individual, let's fucking hear it in court.

Well it is very good that they are shutting it down. As far as I know America only uses it for purposes of using dehumanisating behavior. Seems like they borrowed some technieks from the 1940's.
Seriously what does a modern country want with it?
