I think we should know how big we are allowed to have the pics on our sigs.
And is the pic in the sig to big?

I hate tall signatures.
Banners work nicely for sigs since they only take a couple lines, and as long as they aren't too long.
Does my opinion matter?

Personally, I really don't like images in sigs, but banner-sized ones are okay with me. I do think that the WW one is too large, as is Ack's image.

It's not just scrolling whn the pic is too big, it's also if some pics have colors that make me puke on the green background or take up half a screen without having to scroll...anyway small pics are fine with me.

Could you add to the img tag, the width= attribute, the height= attribut.
This would do away with the "I can't resize it, it's not my fault it's too big etc.etc.etc.'
If the image is too big for the posting area than the poster can add the width= attribute and have it scale to a width of 600-700, however wide the post area is...
if the user wants, he could put the image tag inside of a url tag and create a thumbnail by adding the width/height tags and making them 100x100 (for example)
