Idk if its called animal control over here but my friend has 1 week to pay to get her cat from being killed and all it did was go next door yard...now there gonna fucking kill this cute kitten...

well, idk the specifics, but if an animal you own TRESPASSES on someone else's yard, it is ileagl, and the control has to follow the law. It's the other person's fault for pressing charges or what ever. I really don't think we are talking about what i mean. they might not of known that it would be put down in a week, here they put animal down after 4-6 months, depending on health. Also, they probly called b\c they didn't know whose it was, not to get anyone in trubble.

As said, the sad part is, animal control can overreact on retarded things, and will usually just put the pets to sleep after a short period of time if no one gets them.

My cats piss me off and totally run this house ... I love em to death. There are many ways you can help too. This year me and the girlfriend got our pets (my two cats and her dog) pictures taken with Santa at the local Petco. All the money from that went to agencies that help animals. On a side note the santa was a chick which was kinda weird but I don't think our pets noticed.

I love animals so much I give up one or two days a week to help out. (OK, I can't afford donations)

Seriously, animal welfare is a serious issue - some of the animals we've had through here have been through horrible things. We never put anything down unless its quality of life is too poor. I'm shocked they concentrate that much on ecomonics as a charity (Are they a charity?)

If you love cats, then for the love of God, sterilize yours! There's an overpopulation everywhere in the world. I have two cats and sterilized both of them. The first came from a knowledge who refuses to sterilize her cats (prolly because it costs money), even though they already had to kill kittens due to that! The 2nd one was lost and I found it near my work. Took it back home after it came asking for food for a week. The poor thing was only a couple month old.

Yes, neuter your animals unless you do intend to breed, which you shouldn't without extensive experience.

We got 7 cats, indoor cats. They all sterilized though. (Wasn't there a difference between the name 'sterilized' for male/female cats)?

Samous, it's a good cause but please stay away from the tear jerking shit that PETA does. There are dozens of awesome, inventive ways to bring the issue of animal mistreatment to someones attention, without throwing a wall of pictures of sad kitties at them.
