Hi guys,
I just had to reimage my computer earlier this week. Unfortunately, it deleted all of the registry keys so that when I moved the game to my external, when I tried to move it back, it doesn't register me as having the game.
I have the First Decade collection. I'm wondering if there is some file where I can find my registered serial number (since my serial number is not here atm). Anyway, I'm having Renegade withdrawals

Strange that it would delete your registry when the whole purpose of an image is to have the registry saved :-S.
If your registry keys are gone, then there's nothing we can do for you, really, as it's the only place where it's stocked.
You can find me in The KOSs2 (TK2) discord while I'm playing. Feel free to come and say hi! TK2 discord

Nevermind.
Renguard is a wonderful initiative

|
woldata.key stores the encryption key for the serial in the registry and is not a "regedit" file...

Haha, the .key file is unfortunately encrypted...not like it would help if I decrypted it seeing that I would need to recover mine for The First Decade too (where there is not a .key file, I believe...or that I know of).
Thanks for your help. I guess I'll have to painfully wait the 3 weeks out until I can get my handbook back!

The .key file itself isn't encrypted, it's the encryption key needed to decrypt the serial number you have stored in your registry.

Im having the exact same problem, except that im moving The First Decade from my old computer to my new one and I lost the manual so I don't have the Serial Numbers, I have the Registration Key from EA, but not the Serial Numbers; and I only want the Renegade one!!!
