i'm hosting a server and i cant join it, it says negotating port with server and keeps saying that and doest lett me join..
i have a router and i tried it without the router and it worked, but not with the router.
Whats the problem? please help!

Seems the router of yours blocks the connection of renegade to the server. You should setup a portforwarding or set the router on 'Block only Incoming Traffic (unless estebalished from internal Network PC's)' or something

how do i set the router on 'Block only Incoming Traffic (unless estebalished from internal Network PC's)'

i did stuff and it worked, but people say that they cant join it because of that problem
how should i fix that ?

Check in server.ini what port you use and forward that port to your internal ip adress, as explained on the link I gave you.
