I don't know how many have heard of this. I have heard of a certain Planet X or a giant celestial body or a black hole right near or Solar Syatem.

And it looks like the hysteria and this concept is quickly spreading. I heard something about this way back in 2003 I remember...then it all went quiet. Now the rage is starting up again...

Most probably heard of it...rogue plant that will wreck havoc on Earth and cause the sun to release massive flares, cause heat waves, global warming, volcanic eruptions, floods, earthquakes, and cause massive deaths. All somehow loosly connected with the Mayan calender which ends around Dec 21-23, 2012.

I have been reading a bit about this stuff past 2 days...seems interesting and scary and seems true as well. NASA reportedly tracking this object ever since they found it in the early 80's. It can only be clearly observed from the Southern hemisphere and that too only when it pulls more closer.

Of course, I would hate for this thing to happen but already a sort of scare has started. Movie industry is cashing in on the event (as usual greedy pigs) by making a movie called 2012 release in summer 2009.

So what do you all think this is about? Anything relevant? Any opinions you care to share?

ps: I did not want to post any link/article...you can Google them yourselves and decide if it's interesting or not. Just your opinions...

Some French nancy boy predicted shit that didn't happen.. again.

2000!! OMG PLANS CRASH AND FALL FROM SKY, BOMBS EXPLODE AND NUCLEAR MISSILES SELF LAUNCH AND KILL US ALL!.. guess what? Reborn got released before there was a slight chance of that even happening.

The only logical theory of a slight chance is.. guess what? yeah.. Earth goes far out into our solar system and B%Y = earth's magnetic fields go a little crazy.. shit happens every 27,000 years... now if the end of the world happens every 27,000 years.. how does earth terror form from a dusty ball to life? that process takes millions of years..

fuck all will happen.. 21st of December? probably someones birthday.

Presence is a curious thing, if you think you need to prove it... you probably never had it in the first place.

Goes to show how much everyone knows...

2012 is the end of the Mayan calendar, who up to this point in time, have never been wrong about celestial predictions and what not. It's sort of like how we can predict the weather, but better.

However, the fact is that their calendar just ends, it doesn't say or even hint that it means the end of the world. It's just the end of the calendar.

It is supposedly simply the end of their celestial cycle, and instead of the calendar ending, it is just rebooting.

The whole "End of the world in 2012" is just a rumor started by people who don't understand why their calender has ended. There is no physical facts that say there is an armageddon prediction or anything similar.

It's odd that a civilisation that has enough of a grasp of mathematics to make a calendar would make one that runs out... kinda defeats the point...
