not sure if anyone can help me on this but here goes. i just got a new modem. i was using an internal intel 2100 dsl modem. i now use an actiontek wireless-ready dsl gateway. the problem i have is now that i have the new modem no one can connect to me through windows messenger for voice chats. i also can't run renegade servers anymore either. the only configuration that has changed to my computer is the new modem. i've tried it without my firewall enabled, tried setting up proxy server settings, and i also contacted my isp and microsoft and neither one of them could help me. if anyone can help me or has any suggestions they might think will help then i would greatly appreciate it. my specs are: windows xp home; 1.7ghz p4; 512 rdram; soundblaster live value; dsl connection 640/256. everything else involving the internet works fine. i can download, play online games, basically everything else works as before except the server function and voice chats.

Im assuming your running a LAN cos of the gateway. Does your gateway got a DMZ, if so, shove your lan ip in that and be done with it.
In the end it doesn't matter if you are who you say you are. You will still mean nothing to me.
When i have kids, everytime i drive past a fast food restaurant, im gonna punch my kid in the face, then they'll never wanna come..
