If Obama was a Conservative Republican and had the same values and beliefs as myself I'd have no problem voting for him. I don't like his views thats why I didnt vote for him. Has nothing to do with the color of his skin.
Did you vote for him cause he's half black? Remember his mom is white even though they only showed pics of dear ole dad.

I was not going to vote for him anyway. Up until a month before the election, I was going to vote for McCain...till he came up with the negative campaiging.
Then I really didn't know who to vote for. I just wanted to go vote for him anyway...but I had to work (job) and I could not go/choose not to go/just saying excuses here to not go vote.

I voted for Obama eventhough, my vote doesn't count in terms of counting.
1. Because one. anything better then the mess a guy called "Bush" made.
2. He worked very hard to achieve what he achieved my deepest respect!.
3. He is a role model.
4. I dont believe he will be able to make any "big changes" noticable in the next 2 years. But hey look ahead and look at every problem as a challenge to overcome.
5. Yes we can.

Ok not to disrespect your reasons but their all fluff. Their all generalizations. Anyone can preach change but what exact changes is he going to do you agree with. Just because you respect a man doesn't mean he will make a good president.
So basically you voted against the last 8 years not for Obama. Change isn't always a good thing. "Well anything is better", is a very naive statement
Can anyone tell me a real reason you voted for the man?
