You may want to shoot, too. I've heard that's effective at killing people.

Anant, have you reconfigured your free aim (V) key to your right mouse button? That's a must. You got everything else right.

Also, if you need more practice, I will be very happy to help you out. Come to Jelly Snipe and I can teach you some stuff and you can get some practice.

I actually have my free aim (v) set as the left mouse button and have the right mouse button set as fire. Since i feel alot more comforatble using my index fingure instead of my middle fingure to aim with.
Maybe you could try this aswell anant, but set it up to what you feel comfortable with.

what i use is this:
i have my 'v' key bound to my v key (obviously)
move around in the most unpredictable way, while trying to figure out how the enemy shoots
train your reflexes, shoot only when your cross-hair turns red
looks around corners using the 3th person mode
use a 500 for long distance, as they are better for hs, and they don't get noticed so fast (and use scope)
ignore people that start saying noobjetter because they can't win

i'm not saying i'm the best sniper, but i'm not that bad either

hi anant, im gonzalez.

you just need to practise more and that doesnt mean joining no reload servers. they wont help you.

don't dodge in the same pattern and dont tap A and D as fast as you can.

practise more with V. don't overuse it as it can screw up your movement if held down too long.

start using 180 turn. underused by many but this is very useful.

avoid picking up bad habits. my bad habits are that I always tap crouch after every shot. i normally hit 180 turn immediately after killing someone in confined places as its more than likely someone is behind you. sometimes i am too quick to use it when i think my shot killed them but had actually missed.

use shift/crouch. dont listen to people who say it doesnt help because it does. shift and crouch will give you more control on the speed of your movement. obviously dont use it when the enemy is facing you because you will be easier to hit. but when you approach and enemy from behind who is standing still it helps to shift so you don't overrun your target.

when sniping long distance just set your aim at head level and wait for them to walk into your shot.

in the game we just played together i saw you hide behind the smoke from the airstrip. no matter where you hide in this game someone will always spot you and it wont take long for them to do so. keep moving and dont stop.
