Hi,
I want to play with my friend on LAN
I want to fight with him against bots
I always make my own maps in LEVEL EDIT,
but I am always wandering how I can play with
1 other. So I had a few ideas how I
could do this:
-Host a game and let 2 players be GDI>>>how?
-Make a map with enemy bots who attack both teams,
and I can't attack my friend.
-Me and my friend be both neutral, so
we can attack enemies and they can attack
us.
-Put on friendly fire and use the script
"Hunt the player". The bots will attack
both players, but it's always the one or
the other. The one who is nod, will still
take damage from the nod bots. But I want
them to attack both the players equally.
Does anyone know how I can do one of the above
things? If anyone knows any of these things it
would be a great help.
Kind Regards,Brian

possible, have a third pc (ore a tricky way over WOL ore GSA)
-Make a map with enemy bots who attack both teams,
and I can't attack my friend.
set the enemy to "mutant", but you can attack your friend
-Me and my friend be both neutral, so
we can attack enemies and they can attack
us.
set your teams to mutant (in LE)
(and you can damage each other
(MOD forums?)
Moding can be real Fun...

I have played online on one computer, but
on the other one where there isn't a real version
of the game won't see any of the games online.
Maybe there could be an other problem which
causes this. So sorry if I mistake me with
this. But I do know how to play online,
I often go to Wittebolx so
But the other computer doesn't have to go
online, I only want to LAN own made maps
with it like Co-op

Install your official copy on both computers. You can use an official copy on multiple computers at the same time, even to go online.

I was always blocked when attempting to do WOL in the past with 2 game with the same CD key, LAN worked fine though.

hey,
I found the thing I needed, I've used
the script "M_10_Playertype_NOD" on us
both. I've set all enemies to GDI and
now they will attack us without any
script on them, only the uselnate behavior
thingy. Thanks for all the help
Kind Regards,
Brian

Cool, I never knew of that script. I think I'll go play with it.
Some of the little mods I made (in my siggy) are botfighting, but they're little projects for my own amusement and probably not worth downloading unless nothing better exists. By the sound of things though, you seem to know LevelEdit well enough to make your own mod.
