Anant, have you reconfigured your free aim (V) key to your right mouse button? That's a must. You got everything else right.
Also, if you need more practice, I will be very happy to help you out. Come to Jelly Snipe and I can teach you some stuff and you can get some practice.

I actually have my free aim (v) set as the left mouse button and have the right mouse button set as fire. Since i feel alot more comforatble using my index fingure instead of my middle fingure to aim with.
Maybe you could try this aswell anant, but set it up to what you feel comfortable with.

what i use is this:
i have my 'v' key bound to my v key (obviously)
move around in the most unpredictable way, while trying to figure out how the enemy shoots
train your reflexes, shoot only when your cross-hair turns red
looks around corners using the 3th person mode
use a 500 for long distance, as they are better for hs, and they don't get noticed so fast (and use scope)
ignore people that start saying noobjetter because they can't win
i'm not saying i'm the best sniper, but i'm not that bad either
