Im upgrading to xp from me.

I've heard xp improves fps and stuff in games so would i have to reinstall my apps and game sor jsut games?

If you're upgrading from ME and it doesn't force you to install over it, you shouldn't have to reinstall anything aside from updated XP drivers for your hardware. All apps and games should work (as long as they are compatible with NT/2000/XP).

If you have ME I would suggest re-formatting your hard drive and doing a clean install of everything. I did that thing of upgrading and it was the biggest computer mistake i've ever made.

Yes I say do a clean install aswell becuase I upgraded and my video card got f0xx0r3d aswell as a half a dozen diffrent problems here and there.

Don't forget a lot of the older C&C games need special XP patches for them to work so get them downloaded Smile.

And yes do a clean install, upgrades = big mess

Yes it does.. Install Red Alert in DOS (don't have to selecet a sound driver) and then install the windows 95 version of Aftermath. It works for me Very Happy
