You can purchase so called "dLAN" adapters, which channels your network across your inhouse power system.
In the Netherlands that is pretty secure as we have filters between the actual powergrid and the inhouse power network. These filters filter out any signal above I think 100Hz. Not entirely sure about the frequency though. Anyway, these adapters use frequencies of 1000+hz at the very least.
