Ok im really p!$$ed off..

It's done it again, i start up the PC, it brings up that "Menu",

"Safe Mode"
"Last known good configuration"
"Start windows normally"..

There HAS to be something wrong.. It just Hangs on that, nothing happens..

PC Specs -

AMD Athlon 1800+ XP
512DDR Ram (PC2100) (256 x 2) [Limit is 3GB Ram)
GeForce 4 MX 440 128DDR
Some sound card which i dunno
40GB Maxtor H/D (7200 RPM) & 60GB H/D (7200RPM)
MSI KT4V Mother board
Windows XP Pro (all upates except SP1)

Its really annoying me, it isn't even funny anymore.
I've tried looking on the Microsoft.com "Support" page, Nothing, i've even tried looking on nVidia.com, they havern't even got forums to get help.

Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz any known things that can help this, HELP ME PLZ..

I will pay anyone 1000$ to anyone who fixes it Cool Laughing

I had an issue were it would just 'hang' when i downloaded something on mIRC, i then relised it would only do this is it writed and read data from the hdd at the same time for a long period of time, i.e. burning a cd and downloading; i.e. i have a shit hdd, but till i can afford, and be assed to get a new one, im stuck with it.

Does it hang when you download and game? or Burn?

In the end it doesn't matter if you are who you say you are. You will still mean nothing to me.

When i have kids, everytime i drive past a fast food restaurant, im gonna punch my kid in the face, then they'll never wanna come..

There is propably something wrong with the configuration you were using. Thus, it had to load the "default" safe mode configuration. Check that all your drivers, etc. are installed correctly.

Nope i can't load into anything.

I'm pretty sure its something to do with some driver update.
When i go on "Windows Update" and update XP, XP gets buggy after that.
Before i update XP everything is fine, so it has to be something that Windows Update updates.. (sounds confusing really)..

I've just reformatted again to see if it works, but alls im going to update is DirectX to 9.0, so nothing else will get updated. Hopfully this will fix

*Fingers crossed* Neutral

I had that problem, for me the kernel32.dll file went corrupt. (aka one of the boot files) I fixed it by coping most of all my stuff to my slave drive that had 98 on it, then reinstalling XP. I know if you look at the Microsoft *shudders* site they have a fix for it via using the XP repair console.

Your computer just would not turn on it there was not enough power. I am running twice as much as you are on a 400W

Well i'm just wondering because i read somewhere that his PC kept crashing because his Graphics card wasn't getting enough power (he had 350W) so he upgraded to 400W and everything was fine..
