Hey, wondering what all files are needed for Renegade (with scripts 3.4.4, and patched, preferably) for a total conversion mod.

My Renegade folder's incredibly cluttered, and I can't exactly re-install Renegade to a separate folder right now thanks to losing my serial.

So, I'd like it if I could know exactly which files to copy+paste, rather than have to see which ones, one by one.

I saw those, and it's not the always.dat stuff I'm looking for. I'm talking about the stuff like the .exe files, scripts.dll (Already know I need to have it, just an example), and stuff OUTSIDE the always.dat.

To keep your old serial copy the hashed registry key to a file and copy the WOLdata.key file from your renegade/Data directory. Then replace the hashed serial in your registry after installation and overwrite the the WOLdata.key file with the one you backed up.
EDIT: DON'T uninstall just in case this doesn't work. Instead rename your current ren directory and re-install. Don't just install to a different directory-name as several keys are placed around the registry that you'll have to replace that denote the renegade install path.

Use the Renegade serial changer from the sticky in General Discussion (scroll down to find the 1.1 version that works). It'll decrypt your serial number and you can use that to reinstall Renegade.
