Problem with RA2/YR sounds. [message #351387]

I am currently having problems with my RA2/YR games. I installed RA2 last night, I felt like playing, and I had this problem before and I thought I could fix it, but I guess not. Anyways, I got home from school today tried to go on, I have an hour left before i go back to football practice, so I haven't played in a mad long time, I booted the game up today, all of a sudden the movie starts to roll for RA2. Surprisingly NO sound shows up at all, my speakers are up as loud, I check the sound files in my RA2 folder, nothing works. Now I wanted to see if Yuris has the same problem. and it did. Anyone tell me whats wrong here?

try lowering you sound acceleration.

Try re-installing? Could be that it didn't install the sound correctly. I think I had this before, but I don't recall what I did to fix it. But I do know it's fixable atleast.

Thing is man i tried that so many times and nothing did the trick that i know of but hopefully somebody has a new idea that can get me up and going Very Happy
