Have you replaced the serial in server.ini with a valid working serial, are you using a nick that is not in use and is available, is the password for the nick Exactly 8 characters long?

It works know. I had a valid serial, i replaced it and it worked.

Hi. I encountered the same problem as you did.

Must my renegade version be the latest and up to date? My serial is valid, my nick is not registered and i doubt it is in use and my password is exactly 8 characters long.

I hope that wasn't your actual serial you just gave out, without the dashes(-).
