Err...the poll is over and the person got banned. Now you want him unbanned for a week so you can say your verbal abuses to him and "finish business"???

wow...I don't know who thinks they own Renforums.

Um, no? I had no large arguments with trooprm02 other than him getting pissed off at me in one game for not repairing his whatever and which he then spammed me with 1v1???!? for the rest of the game, and the suggestion was a joke in the first place.
A tip would be not to take things so serious over the internet, especially on an internet gaming forum. As for the comment, I said it because you demanded a thread which you didn't make, or have any input in to it at all, be locked, even though there was still a discussion going on afterwards, which furthers my theory that you want nothing more on these forums to be a mod. In fact instead of unbanning troop, this thread should be stickied so that this day will be remembered forever.

RIP troop you will be missed

What a sad day when the egotistical and idiotic majority has its way and bans a true hero. What did he ever do that would warrant a permanent ban? Perhaps a temporary ban for rule breaking, but a permanent one? All he did was hold up a symbolic mirror to everyone here and showed how they truely were. Most people here have a lot of rage in them and are as heartless as they claim troop to be.

Also, lets not forget the validity of this poll. How can they're be 70 different people on the forums? There's only ever about 15-20 posters that I can think of. There's a lot of people just lurking who never post at all. And it's not impossible that if anyone disliked troop enough they would make secondary accounts to vote yes. 11 people voted Yes in my my vote to ban crimson topic. Are those legitimate votes or people messing around like they did here?

You do realize, that he's pretty much the source of nearly a third of the flaming and arguments on these forums? Smartasses think it's a good idea to ban everyone, but really, it's sometimes best to only get rid of what's causing the flaming, not all the people who are flaming.

I voted yes, and if you can tell by the posts in this topic, a lot of individuals also voted yes.

Also, about your crimson ban topic (this ban joke thing is getting really old), people were just messing around, and it was in the spam forum too.

Rocko srsly. Even if you eliminated the 'messing around' votes you'd still find this poll to be in the majority yes, definitely.

I also fail to see how blatant flaming and insulting people for completely unrelated things (IE derailing a topic just to make fun of somebody for something like their real life, which troop has no way of knowing about.)

IMO Goztow just banned the most immature, retarded douche I've ever seen on the internet.

What you don't get is that the majority DIDN'T get their way. All the majority did was make the moderation team take a harder look at troop's input in the community and realized that he was no longer balancing his bullshit posts with quality posts and has become nothing more than a troll. They made the decision by themselves. All this poll did was give them a reason to take a hard look at what he meant to the community.

What you also missed was the fact that Goztow made mention of troop's being banned before for breaking the rules. He had been warned, yet showed no regard for the wishes of the administration.

Oh, and he made baseless assumptions about people. Sure, he did show that most of the forum members aren't as mature as they should be (and I include myself in that), but in no way were what he said about others even near the truth.

For the record, I voted yes, and I think the decision to ban trooprm02 is one of the best decisions taken by this forums administrative and moderating team in a long time. His attitude and incessant trolling and flaming were detrimental to the forums and the morale of anyone intending to post here. Personally, I would have banned him long ago for his actions, and it's a testament to the leniency and patience of the administrators and moderators here that he lasted as long as he did. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Aww, my 1v1 is voided by his getting banned. Oh well, I call victory by default. The terms were voided by his being an asshole and getting banned for it.

The terms of our 1v1 were to see who would leave the forums. Our initials bans were 3 days for me and 8 for him. Had his ban just remained 8 days, we'd still have the original terms, but with him getting permanently banned, the terms of "the loser leaves renforums" kind of seems pointless.

This 1v1-thing is stupid: you really think Troop would have left the forum if u had won? He would've gone "kkkkkkkkk I'm staying anyway".

It's never an easy decision to ban someone. One of the key elements you should remember is that Troop has had many and clear warnings before. This includes a temporary ban.

A 2nd element that's of importance: Troop is in my opinion not the retarded person he made out to be. As I said before: he showed that he can make intelligent posts. He chooses his behaviour to piss off people and that makes him worse than all the other people here.

He also knew this was coming, but choose not to change his ways or lay down. It's nothing more or less than pure provocation.

I said that!

I doubt we would have even done a 1v1. He would have made up some bs excuse, anyway.
