Make sure you get a Pentium4, not a Pentium4-M.
Get at least a 2.4ghz
Get a good graphics card.
At least a ATi Radeon Mobility 9000 or a nVidia Geforce 4 4200 GO.
A Radeon Mobility 9600 would be ideal.
AVOID a Radeon Mobility or Radeon Mobility 7500 or a Geforce 4 GO.
If you get one with the GF4, make sure it says 4200. If it does not say 4200, then it is a basically a GF4MX-440.
You could also try and get like a Centrino or a P4-M, but the only advantages these is longer battery life. Most laptop users plug their laptop into the wall wherever they go. Purchase accordingly.
